System on Chip (SoC) means that it is a product, an integrated circuit with a dedicated purpose, which contains all the contents of a complete system and embedded software. At the same time, it is a technology that is used to realize the entire process from determining the system function to software/hardware division and completing the design. Compared with microcontrollers, SoCs have higher performance and integration, but are also more complex and expensive.
